Vaccination Rate in Thousand Islands Reaches 97.30 Percent

The Thousand Islands Regency accelerates vaccination against COVID-19. As of January 29, 2022, vaccination rate for children aged 6 to elderly has reached 97.30 percent.

Thousand Islands civil apparatuses, PJLP personnel, and residents can get the vaccine at local health center

Thousand Islands Health Sub-agency's Person in Charge for Vaccination, Ulinuha Setya Darmawanti said, from total 25,566 targeted residents aged 6 and older, as many as 24,875 or 97.30 percent had received the first shot.

"The second shot has reached 21,925 or around 85.76 percent, while for third shot (booster) has reached 1,401 or around 5.48 percent of target. We will continue to intensify vaccination for maximum result," she asserted, Wednesday (2/2).

Her side accelerated vaccination by optimizing socialization and mobilizing vaccination centers in health centers and health facilities both at urban village and sub-district levels, as well as representative offices in Mitra Praja Building, Sunter, North Jakarta to serve every institution and sub-agencies based on mainland of Jakarta.

"Apparatuses and PJLP personnel who work on the mainland of Jakarta can take part in vaccination at Mitra Praja Building. While for Thousand Islands civil apparatuses, PJLP personnel, and residents can get the vaccine at local health centers," she explained.
